Lesson Plan - Menu Design

Overview:

As a Digital Design Instructor, I developed and implemented the "Menu Design" project to teach students foundational skills in Adobe Photoshop. This project was designed to introduce students to layers, typography, alignment, and visual hierarchy while applying instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM. Through hands-on learning and structured resources, students gained proficiency in creating professional and visually appealing menu designs.

 

Key Contributions:

✔ Course Curriculum Development – Designed a comprehensive Digital Design course incorporating Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Animate to build students’ technical and creative skills.
✔ Lesson Planning & Instruction – Created and delivered the Menu Design project, guiding students through design principles, digital tools, and creative problem-solving.
✔ Instructional Design Integration – Applied ADDIE and SAM models to structure the course for maximum engagement and learning effectiveness.
✔ Resource Development – Provided step-by-step instructions, design tips, and visual examples to support diverse learning styles and reinforce key Photoshop concepts.
